Associate Professor, Interdisciplinary Studies – Health Care Administration
Sonnice Estill (DHA, MBA) is an associate professor of interdisciplinary studies—health care administration for the University of Oklahoma College of Professional and Continuing Studies (PACS). With more than 15 years of experience in corporate health care, she has served as a senior consultant working with healthcare organizations to reengineer processes and better understand their business by streamlining responsibility and accountability through healthcare informatics and analytics. Previously, as a graduate program director, she guided Master of Health Care Administration (MHA) students through courses in leadership, ethics, healthcare governance, and finance and economics.
Her specialization in financial analysis, strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting coupled with a domestic and global view provides her with a holistic perspective of healthcare as a commodity (commerce with a conscious), inclusive of all stakeholders in the delivery of medicinal care for the health and wellness of humanity.
Living to leave a legacy, she believes in the servant leadership model. She serves as the chairperson on the board of M&E Collaboration, Inc., a non-profit foundation providing mentorship to girls and young women to improve communities. In addition, she is a passionate social entrepreneur, supporting third-world sustainable projects in primary schools in Ghana, Madagascar, and Mokopane in South Africa.
