What to Expect

A fast-paced, accelerated program designed to accommodate working adults. When admitted into the program, you will be assigned an advisor who creates an individualized graduation plan to help organize and identify the courses you need for your degree.

Manageable Accelerated Courses

All undergraduate courses in this program are eight weeks long. Most students choose to take four courses a semester. The number of credit hours you take each semester should be discussed with your advisor and reflective of your personal and work schedules—these courses are fast paced and intensive.

Degree Requirements

  • 120 hours 
  • 60 hours from a baccalaureate (four-year) institution
  • 40 hours must upper-division coursework
  • 30 hours must be earned from OU Extended Campus
  • Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.0 or higher

How to Apply


1. Meet Admissions Criteria

A minimum of:

24 hours of letter-graded college credit
2.0 GPA

Step One - Complete an OU Undergraduate Application

Step Two - Pay the non-refundable $40 application fee

Step Three - Send Officical Transcripts

3. Be Admitted

Once OU recieves all materials (Steps One through Three), Admissions will begings processing your application. Admisssions will email a decision letter to the email address listed on the application.
