DEGREE REQUIREMENTS

The Bachelor of Science - Criminal Justice is a Degree Program that Consists of Three Curriculum Areas:

  • General education 
  • Free electives 
  • Major Core
    • Major Core
    • Area of Concentration - Homeland Security, Restorative Justice, Administrative Leadership, or Investigations and Intelligence Analysis

Together, the State Regents of Oklahoma and the University of Oklahoma Require a Minimum of the Following to Receive an Undergraduate Degree:

  • 120 hours 
  • 60 hours from a baccalaureate (four-year) institution
  • 40 hours must upper-division coursework
  • 30 hours must be earned from the OU College of Professional and Continuing Studies
  • Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.0 or higher
