   Due to COVID-19, the 2020 Legal Issues in Higher Education Conference, which is sponsored by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and was scheduled on October 14, 2020, has been postponed until October 19, 2021. 

Legal Issues in Higher Education Conference October 19, 2021 Oklahoma Memorial Union/OU Campus, 900 Asp Ave, Norman, Oklahoma

This biennial conference, held on the campus of the University of Oklahoma, addresses the unique legal issues that affect higher education. Intended for higher education professionals and legal professionals working with institutes of higher learning, past conferences have covered such topics as: FERPA, ethics rules, legislative process, intellectual property, social media, veterans issues, student discipline, immigration, recent changes to labor laws, and more. The upcoming 2020 conference is still in the planning stages.

The conference is sponsored by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, with the assistance of OU College of Professional and Continuing Studies. Additional sponsors are welcome and should contact Bob Anthony.
