The Minor in Restorative Justice is a 15-hour program that can be completed 100% online. You’ll take four courses – Theories of Criminal Behavior, Restorative Justice and Problem-Solving Courts, Community Policing, and Problem Solving and Juvenile Delinquency – plus one criminal justice elective of your choice.
The minor in restorative justice emphasizes services to crime victims, offenders, and communities, aiming to repair the damage caused by crime. The minor is a great complement if you work in crime prevention or a restorative justice profession, such as a victim advocate, counselor, mediator, court officer, or probation and parole officer.
