Students who fly at OU train in a modern fleet of aircraft, which features the very latest in aviation technology. Students will be prepared through a multi-engine, commercial rating and a required turbine transition course.
Please be aware that we have a limited number of flight slots for pilot students. Admission to this concentration is limited and competitive.
All graduates of the program in aviation will have developed a depth of understanding of the Aviation industry and been afforded the opportunity to prepare for an aviation-related professional career following graduation.Â

Applications for flying concentrations (Professional Pilot or Aviation Management – Flying) are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications for flying concentrations are currently closed and will reopen in August 2021 for fall 2022 enrollments. The first 50 students to submit an application AND pay the $250 enrollment deposit each year will be considered for admission. Once all 50 new-student slots are full, applications will be moved to a waiting list. Students who are accepted can expect to begin flying their freshman year!
