Serving Those Who Serve - Staff Dedicated to Your Success

OU Extended Campus understands the dynamics of being both a student and a service member. That’s why we provide an extensive support system of staff members whose principle focus is to help you succeed academically, professionally, and personally.

Your Student Services Advisor - Your Advocate

Your first line of support is your academic advisor, who functions as your personal advocate for issues related to program requirements, course materials, university policies, and anything else that may impact your academic experience. If you are a military veteran, you have the added support of our experienced staff who will help you navigate the policies and resources specific to your military status.

Law Enforcement Non-Resident Tuition Waiver

OU Extended Campus offers Homeland Security Law Enforcement (HSLE) officers a nonresident tuition waiver for courses to all non-resident students who are affiliated with Homeland Security as a Law Enforcement Officer. All students desiring to take advantage of the HSLE tuition waiver must submit the HSLE Tuition Waiver Application.

This is a one-time application and the nonresident tuition waiver benefit will carry with the student throughout the remainder of his/her academic career. There is no need to resubmit documentation each semester.

Please see our Tuition and Fees page for current rates with the military tuition and fee waiver.

Note: The non-resident Homeland Security Law Enforcement tuition and fee waiver can only be applied to OU Extended Campus courses in Liberal Studies, Life Span Care, Criminal Justice, World Cultural Studies, Administrative Leadership, Health and Human Services, Museum Studies, and Prevention Science. This waiver does not currently apply to Aviation, Advanced Programs, or courses offered by any of the other colleges at the University of Oklahoma.
