This hands-on strategic planning activity is accomplished with the players influencing process improvement activity within a company. It will document the creation of a path forward that maximizes the efforts of training, coaching and execution of process improvement activities across the enterprise. The activity is designed to empower an entire workforce toward a single mission. Deliverables include “goodness” conditions (ideal state) to be achieved, performance indicators to measure progress, activity plans to close the gaps between current state and the goodness conditions, and a method to communicate/deploy the documented strategic plan. The latter is necessary so everyone understands WHAT is to be achieved, WHY it is necessary, HOW it will be done, and their particular contributory role.
