Dr. Daniels is an international business and research consultant who specializes in improving organizational communication, marketing, healthcare, and research. She has over 15 years experience working with organizations such as the Dubai Health Authority, UnitedHealth Group, AT&T, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, NCAA, Manufacturing Institute, Catholic Health Initiatives, and the Government Technology Research Alliance. In addition, she taught numerous communication courses at the University of Connecticut, University of Houston, and University of Texas - San Antonio. Ruby is currently an Adjunct Faculty member of the BA and MA in Administrative Leadership degree programs at the University of Oklahoma.
Ruby’s areas of expertise include organizational communication and leadership, business strategy, market segmentation, ROI analysis, as well as qualitative, quantitative, and mixed method research.
The recipient of several grants, Workforce Management as well as Nonprofit World featured Ruby’s national study of leadership during the 2008-2009 financial crisis, which found evidence of ‘boss bullying.’ Daniels works extensively in the Middle East, where she teaches physicians, dentists, pharmacists, nurses, and occupational/physical therapists how to design research. Her study of essential communication skills for nurse managers in Oman was published in the Journal of Nursing Management, while her study of the use of music with hospice patients was featured in the Journal of Evidence-Based Social Work.
