What's all the Hoopla?

What's all the Hoopla? fundraiser

Staff members from the OU College of Liberal Studies showed off their basketball skills when they participated in What’s all the Hoopla?, an OU Campus Campaign event held March 31 at Sarkeys Fitness Center.

Wearing shorts and matching tube socks, the Hoopin’ Hotties—Mary Aldridge, Micah Praytor, LaDawn Jones, Brady Curry and John Boekenoogen—dribbled their way to 13th place.

The team competed in three skill areas, the hot-shot, dribble drive and half-court shot, scoring a total of 52 points.

More than 115 people participated in the event, raising a total of $610, said Beckie Tramel, director of the OU Campus Campaign and Special Programs.

The funds will be used for OU scholarships.
