This Year’s Aviation Festival Promises to Be a High Flying Day of Fun

Hosted by OU Athletics and Sooner Flight Academy, the seventh Annual Aviation Open House, and Family Festival will be October 4, from 12 to 6:30 p.m. at the Max Westheimer Airport.

The event is free for all guests, and free parking is available. Attendees will experience hands-on fun at the kid’s hanger presented by the Sooner Flight Academy and the OU Athletics Sooner Jr. Kids Club. Activities will include aircraft on display, tower tours, fire engines, local law enforcement and K-9 units, a radio-controlled airplane show, OU mascots, World War II War Birds, giveaways and more.
