If you’re reading this, you’re most likely one of two things: 1) you’re considering getting a college degree, or 2) you’re in the process of getting a college degree. Either way, you likely all share a common question: “How am I going to pay for my degree?”
It used to be that in order to qualify for financial aid, you pretty much had to be dirt poor to get any money. Today, things are different.
There are loads of scholarships available to CLS students, and not everyone takes advantage of this great, easy opportunity. Every year, CLS awards approximately $65,000 in scholarship money. That’s a lot of money to spread around! Even if you think you’re on the cusp of meeting all the scholarship requirements, you should still apply. You shouldn’t assume that you’re not going to get it. After all, you can’t get any money unless you apply!
While the scholarship application deadlines vary, the deadline for many of our spring scholarships is Feb. 15. Check out the CLS scholarship page to see what we have in store.
You may have the money for your degree, you just don’t know it!
Update: The College of Liberal Studies was renamed the College of Professional and Continuing Studies in 2017.
