Sooner Jump Start students recently spent time observing some of the most beautiful landscapes in Oklahoma during a two-day field trip to the Wichita Mountains and Sulphur.
The students enjoyed hiking in the mountains, learning about Oklahoma history, and observing a variety of Oklahoma wildlife including buffalo, longhorn cattle, turkey and prairie dogs in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. In Sulphur, students went horseback riding and hiking in the Chickasaw National Recreation Area.
