Photo Highlights from CESL's Culture Night

Students from the Center for English as a Second Language (CESL) gathered together Thursday evening for Culture Night, an event celebrating the customs and culture of their home countries.

In addition to an impressive spread of homemade international foods, the event featured class projects, poetry presentations, and traditional dances and costumes representing more than a dozen countries. Included in the entertainment were students from China performing the song “Small Dimple” and students from Oman performing a traditional chant.

The celebration was one of many events hosted by CESL throughout the year. To learn more about the Center for English as a Second Language and their cultural activities, visit pacs.ou.edu/cesl.
