Our Commitment to the Military and Those Who Serve

Some of the CLS staff has been away this week at the Council of College and Military Educators annual symposium in Tampa, Florida. Educators who specialize in military education travel from all over the country to learn how they can provide top-notch programs for those who serve our nation.

The OU College of Liberal Studies has been a leader in providing nontraditional education to service members for 50 years. We have partnerships with 26 military installations worldwide, but our programs extend beyond those boundaries because we are 100% online. This allows us to support our troops no matter where they are.

Military rates are not just available for active duty service members. Active duty military spouses; retired military members and spouses; veterans and spouses; civilian employees and contractors on military installations are eligible for the military rates as well.

Just this week, 3,400 members of the Oklahoma National Guard’s 45th Infantry Brigade said goodbye to their loved ones as they prepare for a deployment to Afghanistan. We send them and their families sincere wishes of support during this time!

Update: The College of Liberal Studies was renamed the College of Professional and Continuing Studies in 2017.
