Marketing Department Wins ADDY Award

Degree rack cards that brought home silver ADDY award

Members of the OU College of Professional and Continuing Studies marketing department were recognized at the 51st annual American Advertising Awards of Oklahoma City (ADDYs). The awards were presented at the Chevy Bricktown Events Center in Oklahoma City.

Staff members Traci Fuller Jimerson, Mary Wuestewald and John Huggins brought home a Silver Award in the Direct Marketing/Public Service Collateral category for the 2016 degree rack cards.

"We're excited to have the innovative work of our marketing department recognized in such a competitive arena," said PACS Interim Dean Martha Banz.

The rack cards replace the college’s traditional brochures and feature information about degrees, as well as a new color-coded design. The cards give potential students pertinent information about degree programs in a sleek, easy-to-follow format.

The Oklahoma City ADDYs is the local advertising industry’s most representative competition, drawing more than 1,000 entries each year from Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Wichita Falls.
