Highlights from the Spring 2019 CESL Graduation

Center for English as a Second Language (CESL) students were recognized for their efforts at a graduation reception in the Cross Black Box Theater on May 9.

Advanced students were given special recognition as they gathered with their classmates and friends, as well as CESL instructors and staff, to celebrate their graduation from the CESL program. Many of them will begin taking classes as part of the general student population on OU's main campus during the Fall semester.

Certificates were also awarded to students who had completed a variety of courses—from beginning English learners in CESL's General English course to members of the Intensive English Program (IEP). The IEP courses help students polish their English skills in preparation for attending university-level classes.

Congratulations to all of the students who successfully completed the next step in their English language education this spring!
