Highlights from Aviation Director Ken Carson's Retirement Send-off

Faculty, staff and students from the School of Aviation Studies and OU Extended Campus gathered at Max Westheimer Airport on Friday, Aug. 9, to celebrate the career of Director Ken Carson.

Carson, who is retiring this year, has guided the School of Aviation Studies since 2005, and in that time has solidified OU Aviation as one of the top aviation programs in the nation.

The gallery below features those in attendance who wished Ken well and thanked him for his years of loyal service to his staff and students, and for being an amazing boss, co-worker, mentor and friend.

Blue skys and soft landings, Ken!
