Good and Bad News About the Spring Semester

Good and Bad News About the Spring Semester

For the past couple of weeks, we have been receiving a number of calls asking if there is still time to enroll for the spring semester. In answer to that, we have both good news and bad news.

Unfortunately, it is too late to enroll in the classes that started earlier this month. That doesn’t mean there is any reason to worry, though! The cool thing about the College of Liberal Studies is that we offer accelerated courses. Our degrees are designed for timely completion, and we make sure our class offerings to reflect that goal.

At CLS, our classes come and go quicker than most colleges’. We have two eight-week terms in both the fall and spring semesters and another round of classes will be starting before you know it. Apply now for spring semester II and you’ll be able to start classes in mid-March!

Specifically, the application deadline for the second spring semester is Sunday, Feb. 15. Classes start Monday, March 9. More details are on our undergraduate admissions page, and you can apply to OU online (remember to select Liberal Studies as your campus!).

Our accelerated courses make CLS the perfect option for adult students looking to get the degree they’ve always wanted. Don’t miss this chance to get started on yours!

Update: The College of Liberal Studies was renamed the College of Professional and Continuing Studies in 2017.
