Last week I talked about the details of the College of Liberal Studies’ tailgate party that will take place before this weekend’s OU/Texas Tech football game. We are incredibly excited to host this get-together for CLS students, alumni, faculty, staff and their families. It’s what homecoming week at OU is all about.
We have about 50 game tickets left for $89 each. Tickets can be purchased here. Kickoff time is 7 p.m. Order your tickets now before it’s too late!
For the tailgate party, here’s what you need to know:
CLS Homecoming Tailgate Party
• Saturday, Oct. 22
• 2 – 4 p.m.
• Oklahoma Center for Continuing Education lawn
• The tailgate party is free, but we need you to RSVP here so we can get an accurate count for the caterer.
We will have plenty of Head Country BBQ and cold, non-alcoholic beverages on hand. The tailgate party will be a great way for you to meet in person some of the CLS people you may have only met online or over the phone. Yes, people like Martha Banz, Julie Raadschelders, Mary Aldridge and Jeff Roby really exist! Saturday will be your chance to meet some of us and see the beautiful OU campus.
The tailgate is one of the events commemorating the College of Liberal Studies’ 50th anniversary, and homecoming is the perfect time to honor our college’s unique history.
See you on Saturday!
Update: The College of Liberal Studies was renamed the College of Professional and Continuing Studies in 2017.
