LSAL 3173 – Goal Setting and Attainment
Why is it cool?
Whether it’s eating a record number of hot dogs or going to the moon, we all have goals. However, the path to attainment may not always be simple to see.
Goal Setting and Attainment introduces students to the importance of establishing goals and to the goal attainment process in business and in everyday life. This subject includes broad perspectives for reaching goals on multiple professional and personal levels. Whether it’s meeting production quotas or overcoming personal challenges, such as a fear of public speaking, the skills taught will enable the most seemingly unreachable goals to be broken down into smaller, more manageable tasks.
Goal Setting and Attainment shows students how to apply goal setting and growth planning strategically for multiple areas of life goals, learn how to critique problem scenarios and examine both case studies and their own personal experiences, using goal setting concepts and strategies that may be employed across a wide range of topics.
Part of what makes setting goals such a great tool for success is the creativity to create a strategic goal attainment process for almost any scenario, whether personal or professional.
Goal Setting and Attainment is a fundamental course that teaches students not only how to attain goals of all types, but how to communicate their plan to those involved in making them a success.
