Class Highlight — Capstone in Organizational Leadership

What class?

LSAL 4953 – Capstone in Organizational Leadership

Why is it cool?

You’ve worked hard on your organizational leadership degree. Now it’s time to pull it all together and demonstrate what you’ve learned in this final undergraduate capstone course in the organizational leadership program.

While creating your ePortfolio, you’ll engage with classmates and give each other feedback each week to revise and finalize the project.

In Capstone in Organizational Leadership, you’ll develop an ePortfolio using Google Sites, a user-friendly web hosting platform than can be accessed and updated as needed throughout your future career. Your ePortfolio will help showcase your understanding of leadership best practices and theory.

While creating your ePortfolio, you’ll engage with classmates and give each other feedback each week to revise and finalize the project. The final ePortfolio will incorporate 12 to 15 pages of information that include peer-reviewed or professional sources. The assignments will also be evaluated on the application of leadership concepts, demonstration of undergraduate-level writing and visual appeal/engagement.

Upon completion of the course, you’ll be able to discuss key lessons learned in your undergraduate leadership program, analyze how insight from the program affects your future career aspirations, and apply leadership best practices and theories to influence individual, team and organizational performance. Even better, you’ll have an ePortfolio that showcases your undergraduate experience.
