Aviation Welcomes New FAA Certified Flight Instructors

Aviation Welcomes New FAA Certified Flight Instructors

The College of Professional and Continuing Studies (PACS), is proud to announce the following new FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) staff members for the Department of Aviation.

  • Sadaf Imani
  • Clayton Costiloe
  • Daniel Hall
  • Brent Spann
  • Charlie Howell

“The FAA Certified Flight Instructor is one of the hardest flight ratings to obtain,” said Aviation Director Ken Carson. “These pilots have not only mastered all aspects of commercial flight but have the skill sets and abilities to ‘teach and instruct’ in the art and science of training a pilot.”

The new Aviation CFI staff successfully completed the FAA written knowledge test, a lengthy oral examination and finally the ability to instruct and fly the airplane simultaneously.

They will join the ranks of Aviation’s first-class CFI cadre as they provide flight instruction to the record number of more than 140 flight education students!

Welcome aboard to the PACS Aviation team as we Fly, Control and Manage Like a Champion Everyday!
