CHOCTAW NATION UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS INTEGRAION PILOT PROGRAM
This program is one of 10 sites awarded in May 2018 by the U.S. Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration. Through this initiative, the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma works with industry partners to test and operate small unmanned aircraft systems for rural and agricultural applications, public safety, infrastructure inspection, and other applications that go beyond a pilot’s visual line of sight. The Choctaw Nation serves as an industry partner for OU’s FAA Center of Excellence for Technical Training and Human Performance.
